Leave the Worry Behind

I know this is a tall order, folks, but leave that worry behind. There’s a lot to worry about today. In fact, it’s completely overwhelming to worry about it all. All that you can do is pick a manageable corner of the problem and work on it. The rest will have to wait for you or others to do later.

It’s that simple. Like many simple things, this is easy to say and hard to do. But if you are feeling awash in anxiety and lacking focus as yourself these questions:

  1. What are the issues most important to me, my family, and our values?
  2. What is one small thing that I can do today to make a difference?
  3. How can I check in with others to keep track of other important things that are not my immediate priorities?

Pick what is important to you. Do one thing. Communicate with others who are taking on other parts of the movement. Save your strength and leave the worry for later.
